The MotorSport Arena is unique among this type of setting. In fact it can host many events at the same time and it allows car racing and exhibitions dealing with different categories in absolute safety conditions, offering the spectators in stand an almost total view of the layout of the course.

Over the years, the Bologna Motor Show Racing Area has hosted exceptional high powered cars: from Ferrari F1 to Toyota Camry Nascar Racing, from Le Mans dominant Audi R10 TDi to the drag racing with exciting acceleration contests, without forgetting the beloved WRC rally cars, the Super Tourist cars, the GT exclusive cars and the Monoposto, right for the training of the champions of the future. Area 48’s nature of being all-purpose is due to the fact that the course can be set up both in the total-asphalt configuration and in the asphalt-soil mixture one.

Great importance is dedicated to the world of two wheels, too, which has always been a pillar of the Motor Show agonistic programme. In the last years, the public has enjoyed the evolutions of Freestyle and Supermotard champions, as well as the exhibitions of the protagonists of Moto GP World Championship and Superbike World Championship, taking a stab at different categories such as rallying and drifting.
